Jeffrey D. "Jeff" Reilly

Jeffrey D. "Jeff" Reilly, 55, of Eldorado, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021, following a brief battle with an illness. He was born in Fond du Lac on March 15, 1966, to George B. and Audrey M. (Coon) Reilly. Jeff worked at the family bar, Reilly's, until its closing in 1990, and then the Action Advertiser for more than twenty years. On June 13, 1992, he married Karrie A. Lisko of Campbellsport, WI.

Jeff enjoyed hunting, and various types of fishing, and general 'tinkering' on all varieties of projects, as he said, "always up to his elbows in something." His favorite pastimes were spending time with his five dogs and riding his motorcycle. Well known for his kindness, humor, and quick wit, Jeff was easy to talk to and a friend to many.



Survivors include his wife, Karrie; daughter Brianna Reilly (fiancé Joshua Montgomery) and granddaughters, Phoenix and Aurora Montgomery, all of Eldorado; a brother, David J. (Sue Ann) Reilly of Fond du Lac; niece, Katherine McCardle; mother-in-law, Margaret (Dorm) Lighthizer; father-in-law, Richard Lisko; four nephews, David (Jaime) Reilly, Bob Reilly, Michael (Kim) Reilly, and Conor (Lydia) Reilly; a sister-in-law, Jessica Lisko (special friend Paul Gilster); brother-in-law, Hunter Lisko; the "crew of aunties", Barbara (Kenneth) Melius, Elizabeth (Jeffrey) Lighthizer, and Karen Erwin (Bill Brugger); three uncles, Jerry (Jill) Dhein, Ted (Kristin) Dhein, and Brian (Sandi) Dhein; as well as countless great-nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis G. (Valeria "Vicky") Reilly; maternal and paternal grandparents and great-grandparents; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.

Family and friends are invited, and encouraged, to attend Jeff’s remembrance gathering from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Ashford Town Hall, N1410 Rolling Drive in Campbellsport. Following the gathering, the family plans to celebrate his life, just as Jeff would have wanted. Cremation has taken place.

Jeff’s family would like to thank the medical staff of the Emergency and Intensive Care Units at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee for their dedicated care and support for him during his illness and passing.
