Jennifer L. Thornton

Jennifer L. Thornton, 64, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, February 13, 2011 at her home. She was born the daughter of Warren Clark and Alma E. Beaster Woodruff on July 13, 1946 in Fond du Lac. Jennifer graduated from Horace Mann High School, North Fond du Lac class of 1964. On June 3, 1967 she married Richard L. Thornton at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North Fond du Lac and he preceded her in death on November 4, 1995. Jennifer worked for the North Fond du Lac School District as a secretary at Friendship Learning Center for 26 years. She enjoyed biking, gardening, watching old movies, reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.SURVIVORS: one daughter, Leann (fiancé, Curtis DeRemer) Thornton, Waupun; one son, John (Janelle) Thornton, Van Dyne; two grandchildren, Natalie and Daphne Thornton; her mother, Alma Woodruff, Fond du Lac; five siblings, Carol (Ed) Steinbarth, Fond du Lac, Wendy (Stuart) MacPherson, Pickerel, Nancy (Jim) Kuitert, Fond du Lac, James (Lynn) Woodruff, Fond du Lac, Rich (Theresa) Woodruff, Fond du Lac; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father and her husband.



VISITATION: will be from 3 "“ 7 PM Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will be held at 7 PM Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Paul Monzel officiating. Cremation has taken place.
