Joan A. Huberty

Joan A. Huberty, age 78, formerly of 601 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Waupun Christian Home. She was born on March 20, 1934 in Cedarburg, the daughter of Maurice and Alice (Livernash) Nelson. On May 5, 1963 she married Alfred Huberty at St. Joseph's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on April 6, 2005. Joan graduated from Moraine Park with an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. She worked for eleven years at Mercury Marine as a secretary. Her and her husband then managed the Forest Mall Apartments until 1993. Joan loved to cook. She enjoyed gardening, working with children, spending time with her family, and she loved the Lord.SURVIVORS: two children, Jackie (Joe) O'Boyle of Lamartine, Blaise (Kathleen Gill) Huberty of North Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice Nelson of Fond du Lac, James (Becky) Nelson of Fresno, CA; one sister in law, Violet Nelson of Fond du Lac; twenty-five Nelson nieces and nephews; thirteen Huberty nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, and one sister.



VISITATION: Sunday, March 17, 2013 from 12 noon to 1:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
