Joan A. KlebsJoan A. Klebs, 69, of 469 E. 1st Street, died Saturday, January 15, 2011, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born April 10, 1941, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Lawrence and Olive Petite Boettcher. In February of 1961, she married Paul E. Klebs at St. Louis Church. He preceded her in death on March 17, 2000. Joan was employed by Tolibia Cheese for 29 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac, the Holy Mother's Prayer Night, and sang in the church choir. She enjoyed art in many different mediums, and loved all facets of nature. Surviving is a daughter, Kathy M. (David) Maldonado of Hilbert, two sons, Kevin P. (Laura) Klebs of Fond du Lac and Anthony Klebs of Rosendale, and seven grandchildren, Ashly, Anthony Jr., Joshua, Nicole, Dustin, Nicholas, and Daniel. She is further survived by a brother, John (Karen) Boettcher and a sister, Theresa "Teri" (Ronald) Hendrix, both of Fond du Lac. Her parents, a brother, Hugh Boettcher and a sister, Marion Barker preceded her in death
Visitation for Joan A. Klebs will be on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word Burial services will be at 12:30 PM at the funeral home on Wednesday. The Rev. John Simon will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
