Joan C. "Joanie" Hall

Joan "Joanie" Charlene Hall, 64, of Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, May 10, 2012. Joanie was born on June 5, 1947 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Bernard and Celesta (Koepke) Commo. She attended Laconia High School and received her GED. In high school she went to Madison and won second place in a state typewriting competition. On December 27, 1985 she married Ralph Hall in Fond du Lac. Joanie worked at Oshkosh Truck for eighteen years, and at Potowatomi Casino in Carter for eight years. Joanie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed going out to dinner, crossword puzzles, word find, bowling, fishing, occasionally going to the casino, and most of all spending time with family and friends and with her parakeet "Chipper".SURVIVORS: her husband of twenty-six years, Ralph Hall, three children, Julie (Randy) Wagner of Fond du Lac, Noelle "Pamela" (Richard II) Van Kirk of Fond du Lac, Gary (fiancé Clarissa Rens) Kumber of Waupun, two step-children, Jim (Kathy) Hall of Medford, David (Kathy) Hall of Pickett, seven grandchildren, Jeremy, Kari, Timothy, Corey, Sarah, Christopher, and Jim, one brother, John (Adel) Commo of Fond du Lac, four sisters in law, Patricia Langacker of Fond du Lac, Sara (Pete) Schwartz of Fond du Lac, Marlene (Bob) Thinnes of Fond du Lac, Rae Jean (John) Delap of Fond du Lac, two brothers in law, Peter Hall of Fond du Lac and DuWayne Schelter of Waupun, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Judie Schelter, brother in law, Harold Langacker.



VISITATION: Monday, May 14, 2012 from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Monday, May 14, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
