Joan C. Crosses

Joan C. Crosses, age 75, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, April 22, 2024, at Edenbrook Nursing Home. She was born on May 3, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John and Viola (Konen) Thomma. Joan married Harry Crosses in 1969 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death in December of 1997. Joan worked at Wells Manufacturing, Pranges, Younkers, and most recently TJ Maxx. Joan enjoyed baking, cooking, sewing, crafting, and gardening. She was a very active member at Holy Trinity and loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, James Crosses; her siblings, Mary Ann Smith, Michael Thomma, Carol (Jerry Seipel) Thomma, Tom (Matthew Faucher) Thomma; and Tony (Lynn) Thomma; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her paternal and maternal grandparents; one sister, Patricia Moses; one brother, Stephen Thomma.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 198 N. Macy St, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Visitation will also take place on Friday at the church starting at 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow the service at Rienzi Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Joan’s name is being established.
