Joan K. Bublitz

JOAN K. BUBLITZJoan K. Bublitz, 77 of 134 North Brooke Street, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at her residence. She was born on September 15,1929 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Frank and Eleanor E. Kraus Eggers. On February 18,1947 she married, Wesley J. Bublitz in Fond du Lac. Wesley preceded her in death on December 11, 1989. She was a graduate of Fond du Lac Senior High School. She was a past member of St. Patrick's Church and, a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Mary' s Church. Joan was a homemaker and baby maker having ten children. She enjoyed watching the news, politics, working at the school when her children were enrolled, traveling, and visiting with her friends and neighbors.Survivors include her eight children, Norma (Randall) Schoenberg, Fond du Lac, David (Liana) Bublitz, Franklin, Daryl (Diann) Bublitz, Fond du Lac, Wesley (Karen) Bublitz, Stafford, Virginia, Wayne (Carrie) Bublitz, Lompoc, California, Theresa (William) Wals , Fond du Lac, Tracy (Richard) Schroeder, Appleton,Tammy (Dwayne) Norton , Eldorado. She is further survived by 42 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and seven brothers and sisters, Frances Lemke, Fond du Lac, Evelyn (Frank) Winkler, St. Paul, Minnesota, Lori (George) Van Bruger, St. Paul, Minnesota, Frank (Dorothy) Eggers, Fond du Lac, Leonard (Katie) Eggers, Redding, California, Constance (Walter) Brummond, Shorewood, WI, and Donna (Carl) Marquardt, Fond du Lac, a daughter-in-law Elaine Bublitz, Fond du Lac. Special friends, C.T. (Gus) Athanasiou, Joan Mangas , and Wanda Foss all of Fond du Lac. Joan was preceded in death by a son, Daniel, a daughter Tina, three sisters, Helen Winkler, Marie Huhn , Jacqualine Eggers, and two brothers, Arthur and LaVern Eggers.



Friends may call on Wednesday, October 18,2006 from 4 to 8:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family-St. Mary's Church. Reverend Dennis Budka will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
