Joan L. Benedict

Joan L. Benedict, 76 of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home where she has resided for the past 7 years. She was born in Chippewa Falls, WI on November 13, 1937 the daughter of John and Lillian Peroni. On June 15, 1957 she married Donald E. Benedict at York Center, Wisconsin. Donald preceded her in death on June 29, 2008, She was assistant Liberian at the Lomira Public Library for 15 years. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Joan enjoyed knitting, crocheting, movies, reading and country music.





SURVIVORS: Joan is survived by one son Randy (Kim) Benedict, Fort Worth, Texas, three daughters, Cheryl (Dan) Nielsen, Fond du Lac, Beth (John) DesJardin Apex, North Carolina, and Kari (Kevin) Schneider, Fond du Lac, five grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, Aaron, Anna Benedict and Emily DesJardin. Joan is further survived by a sister-in-law Velma Peroni, Lake Charles, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, an infant sibling and a brother John Peroni.





VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Reverend Michael Morning will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place in the Rienzi Mausoleum.
