Joan M. Kloos, 67, of 136 Rose-Eld Road, Rosendale, died Saturday, March 27, 2010, at the Ripon Medical Center. She was born April 27, 1942, in Marshfield, WI, the daughter of Clarence and Ruth Plier Frankwick. Joan was a graduate of Marshfield High School. On May 25, 1960, she married Robert Kloos in Marshfield. Joan was a member of Our Risen Savior Catholic Church. She was formerly employed by Green Giant Canning Company, Miles Kimball Company, and for many years babysat for her family and friends. She and her husband were members of American Field Service hosting foreign exchange students, and for several years she was treasurer of the organization. Joan enjoyed collecting dolls, Elvis memorabilia, state quarters, shopping, people watching, baking, gardening, crafts, and spending time with her family. Surviving is her husband, Robert, two daughters, Deborah (Special Friend Jason Sivula) Krueger of Rosendale and Darla (Scott) Marchenkuski of Brandon, three grandchildren, Jackie (Walter) Zawadzki of Hartland, Andrea "Annie" (Special Friend Steven Wagner) Ernest of Malone, and Tyler Ernest of Brandon, three "special" grandchildren", Hailey, Brandon, and Casey, two great-grandchildren, Alex and Lacey, and her mother, Ruth (Harold) Bell of Marshfield. She is further survived by three brothers, Tom (Patty) Bell of Spencer, WI, Ken (Cindy) Bell of Fond du Lac, Harold (Diann) Bell of Marshfield, two sisters, Sharon Bell of Eau Claire and Mary (Mike) Olsen of Hustisford, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Her father, a son David, two brothers, David Frankwick and John Bell, and a sister, Sandra Bonnett preceded her in death.
Visitation for Joan M. Kloos will be on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and again on Wednesday, March 31st from 9 to 10 am at Our Risen Savior Catholic Church, W8272 Forest Avenue Road, Fond du Lac. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Wednesday at the church. The Rev. John Simon will officiate and entombment will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
