Joan R. Marshall

Joan R. Marshall, 50 of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on February 10, 1957 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Elmer and Ludina Karls Schmitz. On May 25, 1980 she married Brian G. Marshall at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church with Reverend Martin Putz officiating. Joan was a graduate of New Holstein High School Class of 1975. She was a nurse's assistant at the Sharpe Clinic from 1975 to 2004. She was a member of Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church and churches Senior Choir. She enjoyed camping with family and friends. Joan enjoyed the Green Bay Packers and outdoor activities.Survivors include her husband, Brian G. Marshall, Fond du Lac, three children, Michael Marshall., Green Bay, Scott Marshall, Fond du Lac, and Laura Marshall, Fond du Lac, mother, Ludina Schmitz, Mount Calvary, two brothers, Donald (Lynn ) Schmitz, Mount Calvary, and Stephen (Patricia) Schmitz, St. Cloud, two sisters, Ruth (Don) Miksha, Alberta, Canada, and Barbara (Special friend Ron Rautenberg) Schmitz, Neilsville, mother-in-law, Opal Marshall, Fond du La, brother-in-law, Nolan Marshall, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father Elmer Schmitz, and father-in-law, Theodore J. Marshall.



Friends may call on Wednesday, April 4, 2007 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 5, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Redeemer Ev. Lutheran Church. Reverend Fred Toppe will officiate. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9:30 to the time of services.Memorials appreciated to Hospice Home of Hope, Winnebago Lutheran Academy or Redeemer Ev.
