Joanne Edith Gauger

Joanne Edith Gauger, age 68, of 2630 18th Ave, Monroe, WI, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007. She was born on April 8, 1939 in Lancaster, WI the daughter of Marvin and Leila (Meinert) Zabel. On April 25, 1959 she married Robert Gauger in Fond du Lac. For the last thirty-one years Joanne was an active member of Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monroe, WI. Joanne last received the Sacrament of Holy Communion on October 12, 2007. She was grateful for the means of grace given her in her final days by Faith Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Her time of grace was sixty-eight years, may each of us apply our hearts to the wisdom of faith in the days God allows us, that we would be ready to join Joanne Edith Gauger in glory through grace alone, faith alone, and Scripture alone.SURVIVORS: her husband, Robert of Monroe, four children, Timothy (Linda) Gauger of Rockford, MI, Susan (Dan) Digman of Fond du Lac, Thomas (Cathy) Gauger of Wausau, Shelly (Joseph) Mrozinski of Oak Creek, WI, eight grandchildren, Lindsay and Samuel Gauger, Nathan and Justin Digman, Gavin and Garett Gauger, Anna and Owen Mrozinski, two brothers, Ron (Patricia) and James Zabel, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one infant daughter, Mary Ellen.



VISITATION: Saturday, October 27, 2007 from 12 noon to 2:30 P.M. at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 55 N. Prairie Rd, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Saturday, October 27, 2007 at 2:30 P.M. at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church with the Reverend Joel Gaertner officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery.A memorial service will be held at 3pm on Sunday Oct. 28, 2007 at Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monroe, WI. The family will receive friends and relatives from 2pm until the time of service.
