Everyone knew him as Capt’n Joe and he made the most of retirement. His passion was Fishing! For 14 years the Capt’n shared his bounty each fall by hosting his annual fish boil each Labor Day to celebrate and socialize with his family, friends, and neighbors. In his later years, he traded in the boat for an RV and enjoyed traveling the US and being a snowbird in warm climates. To stay active, he started biking on his recumbent trike for entertainment and socialization. He met every neighbor at every RV park they visited, gave most of them nicknames and continued many of those friendships over the years.
