JOHN B. JANSENJohn B. Jansen age 82, formerly of 701 South Main Street, died Monday, December 20,2004 at the Hospice Home of Hope. John was born on April 24,1922 in Milwaukee the son of John M. and Mayme Weber Jansen. On September 9,1950 her married Lorraine Perdzock in Kingsford, Michigan. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. John was employed with St. Agnes Hospital as a x-ray technologist and later became head of the purchasing department. He was a member of the Holy Family- St .Patrick's Parish, the Holy Name Society , Knights of Columbus Council No. 664 and the Catholic War Veterans. John was a hospice volunteer and sang in the church choir .He loved gardening, walking, and woodworking.SURVIVORS: wife, Lorraine, Fond du Lac, two daughters, Mary Ann (Tom) Adler, and Barbara (Tom) Zingsheim, Waupun, five grandchildren, Ann and Robert Adler, Kelly, Jason, and Matt Zingsheim, one great-grandson Alexander, two sisters, Bernadette Jansen and Margaret Pancheri both of Iron Mountain, Michigan. Nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Mark.



VISITATION: Wednesday, December 22,2004 from 4-8 P. M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. There will be a parish vigil service at 7:00 P.M. FUNERAL: Thursday, December 23,2004 a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 A.M. at Holy Family St. Patrick's Parish. Reverend John Radetski will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Town of Taycheedah. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 8:30 A.M. to the time of services.Memorials appreciated to Holy Family Parish or Hospice Home of Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
