John C. Beahm, 80, of 1810 Minnesota Ave, North Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at his residence. He was born on October 15, 1927 in the Township of Buffalo, Marquette County, the son of George and Edith (Cook) Beahm. John was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. On June 9, 1951 he married Audrey M. Smith at Rhinelander. John worked for Hutter Construction for forty years. Then later for CD Smith until retiring in 1994. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local 8, and of Presentation Church, North Fond du Lac.SURVIVORS: his wife, Audrey of North Fond du Lac, children, Zita Kelling (Mike Trautner) of Van Dyne, Jeff Beahm (Donna Gerard) of North Fond du Lac, George Beahm (Maxine Neas) of North Fond du Lac, Nancy and David Schumacher of North Fond du Lac, grandchildren, Jason LaVine, Becky Beahm (Jay Schneider), Jonathan Beahm, Victoria Beahm, Stacy Schumacher, Joel Schumacher (Stephanie Peachy) and Brandon Mueller, great grandchildren, Alisa Schneider, and Makayla Moncada, sister, Dorothy (Alwyn) Zamzow of Baraboo, sister in law, Dona Damon of Rhinelander, brother in law and sister in law, Clarence and Judy Schmidt of Junction City, OR, special nephew, Roger (Mary) Beahm of Pardeeville, WI, special friends, Harvey Snyder and Dale Roberts of Fond du Lac, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter in law, Patricia M. Beahm, sister, Ruth Beahm, brothers and their wives, Vern Beahm, Harry Beahm, Gordon (Evelyn) Beahm, Winston (Helen) Beahm, Floyd Beahm, Lavere (Alta) Beahm, Kenneth (Elanora) Beahm, Clayton Beahm, and his three cats, Sassy, Rambo, and Missy.
VISITATION: Monday, March 17, 2008 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Presentation Church, 705 Michigan Ave, North Fond du Lac with the Reverend John Simon officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
