John C. Lamue

John Charles LaMue, age 88, formerly of 114 18th St, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at St. Francis Home. He was born on April 6, 1921 in Fond du Lac, the son of John C. and Mildred E. (Graimes) LaMue. John was a sergeant in the United States Army Air Corps from 1943-1946.On August 7, 1948 he married Dorothy Huskey at the St. Joseph Rectory. John worked for thirty-six years as a controller at Sadoff Iron & Metal. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #664 Fourth Degree. John enjoyed Frank Sinatra, good food, and dancing.SURVIVORS: his wife, Dorothy LaMue of Fond du Lac, one daughter, Nancy West of Oregon, two granddaughters, Ashley and Courtney West, brother in law, Bud Huskey of AZ, sisters in law, Lucille Schmidt, Mary Ellen Lange, Dorothy Huskey, all of Fond du Lac, and Lucille Huskey of North Fond du Lac, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters.



VISITATION: Friday, February 26, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until 12 noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. FUNERAL: Friday, February 26, 2010 at 12 noon at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.
