John G. Kolinski, 78, of 1776 Park Ridge Lane, North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008, at the Hospice Home of Hope. He was born April 22, 1930, in Milwaukee, the son of John and Irene Budzis Kolinski. On June 25, 1955, he married Irene Michael in Elm Grove, WI. Mr. Kolinski was a journeyman machinist for 38 years, retiring in 1992. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army from 1951 to 1953. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. Surviving is his wife, Irene, two daughters, Catherine (Jeffrey) Short of Okauchee, WI, and Sandra (John) Gulke of Fond du Lac, two sons, John G. (Karen) Kolinski of Greenville, WI, and Bruce Kolinski of Milwaukee, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He is further survived by, one sister, Patrician (Tom) O'Haver of Milwaukee. His parents preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. John G. Kolinski will be on Monday, January 5, 2009, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Family prayers will be on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at 10 am from the funeral home, and Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am from Church of The Presentation, B.V.M.705 Michigan Avenue, North Fond du Lac.
