John H. Freund

John H. Freund, 59, of 99 East Johnson Street, Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born the son of Anton and Rose Diederichs Freund on June 12, 1947. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Germany during the Vietnam War. He worked in maintenance for 38 years at Saputo Cheese, Fond du Lac. He was a member of Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270, Fonde de Vettes, and Trier Puddy American Legion Post #75. John enjoyed traveling and riding his Harley Davidson. SURVIVORS: three brothers, Alfred Freund, Fond du Lac, Ralph Freund, Marytown, Ambrose (Joanie) Freund, Marytown; seven sisters, Alice (Darvin) Rickert, Oakfield, Lillian Freund, Fond du Lac, Evelyn Abler, Fond du Lac, Rita (Ron) Goeden, Ripon, Rosie (Mike) Briesemeister, South Milwaukee, JoAnn Mayer, Fond du Lac, Kathleen Freund, Fond du Lac; 51 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ernest and one sister Marie Konen.



VISITATION: The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 6, 2006 from 2 "“ 4 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: The memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Sippel officiating. Cremation has taken place.Memorials in John's name may be directed to Kathy's House, 600 North 103rd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53222. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
