John Mc Ardle

JOHN MCARDLEJohn McArdle, age 73, of 474 S. Marr St, Fond du Lac, died Monday, January 10, 2005 at the Hospice Home of Home. He was born on August 27, 1930 in Weyauwega the son of John and Virginia Chapen McArdle. On July 2, 1955 he married Eileen M. Koentopp at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. John was a graduate of Waupun High School Class of 1949. He worked at Mercury Marine for thirty-eight years retiring in 1994. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. SURVIVORS: his wife Eileen of Fond du Lac, one son, Michael (Gerrie) McArdle of Fond du Lac, one daughter, Kathleen Ullsperger of Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Stephanie, Robert "Bobby", Josie, and Cody, two sisters, Nancy Gerke of DePere, Pat (Gehardt) Willie of Brandon, brother, David (Diane) Weber of Waupun, sister, Donna (Bob) Lehman of Waupun. He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather; Rudy Weber.



At John's request there will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held Thursday at Good Shepherd Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend Stuart Zak officiating. Cremation has taken place. Memorials appreciated to Hospice Hope or Hospice Home of Hope.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
