John R. Kallerud

John R. Kallerud, age 80 of 496 Wisconsin Court, Deerview Meadows Assisted Living, died Friday, September 11, 2009 at Deerview Meadows Assisted Living where he had been a resident for the past 9 years. John was born in Ashland on September 21, 1928. He served in the merchant marines. John worked at Rueping Leather, owned and operated his own janitorial business and later was a self-employed painter.SURVIVORS: Survivors include nine children; Robert Kallerud, Wisconsin, Donald Kallerud, Mike Kallerud, Terrance Kallerud, Debbie (Ralph) Zoerner all of Fond du Lac, James (Karen )Kallerud, Madison, Julie (Mark)Uffenbeck, Appleton, Suzanne Cole, Fond du Lac, Bradlee (Tiana) Kallerud, Waupun. Fourteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren further survive John. His parents preceded him in death.



VISITATION: The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 5 to 7 PM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. SERVICES: Memorial services will be held Thursday September 17, 2009 at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. See www.
