John R. Storch

John R. Storch, 63, of Fond du Lac, passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at his home. He was born September 4, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN, to Robert and June (Farr) Storch. In 1960, John and his family moved to Fond du Lac. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School. His career consisted of working as an engineer for a number of years for the Soo Line Railroad and later as a Semi-Truck driver for a local trucking firm. In addition to his work, John enjoyed golfing and was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #270 in Fond du Lac.Survivors include his daughter, Nicole Wilson, two grandchildren; Harley and Odessa Wilson, his mother June Twohig, two sisters; Wendy (Richard) Rysavy and Kathryn (Joseph) Grosdidier, five step-brothers; Michael, Timothy, Jack, Brian and Kevin Twohig, a step-sister Mary Sue Twohig, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father Robert Storch, step-father John Twohig and his brother Kevin Storch.



A visitation for John will be held from 2:00 "“ 4:00 P.M. on Friday April 25, 2014 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 4:00 P.M. with Pastor Ken Nabi officiating. Cremation has taken place and burial will follow at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Fond du Lac.
