Jonathon David West

Jonathon David West, 23, of Fond du Lac, passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at St. Agnes Hospital surrounded by family. He was born January 5, 1996 in Fond du Lac, the son of Christopher West and Kendra Kraus. Jonathon graduated from New Holstein High School in 2014 and went on to work as a concrete finisher for C.D. Smith Construction. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sturgeon spearing and was a gearhead. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.



He is survived by his parents; daughter, Lyla West, her sister, Nova and their mother, Chyanne Watzlawick; four brothers, Jared (Victoria) West, Aiden West, Carter West, and Matthew Kraus; twin sisters, Riley and Natalie Kraus; maternal grandma, Susan Fadness; niece, Everleigh West, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.



He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Marilyn West; maternal grandfather, David Saunders; uncle, Robert Boyd; three aunts, Kathy Boyd, Michelle West, and Rebecca West; and two cousins, John Essman and Donald Boyd.



Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Avenue, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 8:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.



In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family for the purchase of trees that will be planted in Jonathon’s name.
