Jorge Roque

Jorge Roque, 60, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, August 23, 2021, at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI. He was born on February 7, 1961, the son of Eliasel Roque and Justina Pedraza in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Jorge served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany where he met the love of his life. On November 23, 1990, he married Claudia Schenkel in Germany. He went on to get his bachelor’s degree in education and taught Spanish. Jorge loved to drive and fish in Lakeside Park. He loved watching sports, especially baseball, basketball, and football. Jorge enjoyed doing his yardwork and playing with his beloved dog, Valentino.



He is survived by his wife, Claudia; three children, Angelina Roque, Madeline (Nicholas) Goodbinder, and Jennifer Roque; stepson, Kevin (Olga) Denner; two grandchildren, Ruby Goodbinder and Lana May Denner; brother Eduardo (Betsy) Roque; sister, Chevela Roque; and many nieces, nephews, and other friends and family.



The visitation will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Uecker Witt Funeral Home with military honors to follow at 7:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
