Joseph M. Rentmeester

Joseph M. Rentmeester, 38, of Fond du Lac, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at his residence. He was born on July 8, 1983, the son of Gerald and Roujean (Morstz) Rentmeester. Joe worked for Marchant Schmidt for over 10 years where he followed his love for metal finishing. He belonged to the Robot Co. He built big ramps where he would ride his BMX bike on. Joe liked to tinker with everything. He had a love for music and musical instruments and how they worked. Joe enjoyed fishing and working with stainless steel. Making various items like jewelry, cars and key chains.



He is survived by his parents, Gerald and Roujean Rentmeester; his son, Jarett Michael Rentmeester, who Joe loved with all his heart; his two siblings who will greatly miss their baby brother, Chad (Rebecca) Rentmeester of Oak Creek and Amanda Rentmeester; niece, Kassandra; godchild, Colin; nephew, Carson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Mary Rentmeester; and maternal grandparents, Elmer and Carol Morstz.



A celebration of life is planned for Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Eagles Club in Fond du Lac. A luncheon will also be served during this time. Cremation has taken place.



Though his life was short, his memory will live on. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
