Joseph R. Appleman

Joseph Appleman, died peacefully in his sleep on April 18, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on May 25, 1949 the son of Theron and Ellen Appleman in the town of Ripon, WI. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, WI. He enjoyed spending time with his friends from Milwaukee and going to the north woods fishing. He was a retired Captain of the Army Reserves. Survivors include: his brother; Charles Appleman of Fond du Lac; an aunt Lt. Col Charlotte Wepner of Anniston AL.; a nephew; Brian Appleman and a niece Tammy Stephany both of Fond du Lac, WI. Numerous family and friends survived him. His parents, and his sister Patti Smith preceded him in death.



Memorial Services will be held on Saturday May 21, 2011 from 3 to 5 PM. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place with inurnment at Fairwater Cemetery in Fairwater, WI.A special thank you to Aunt Chuck for the wonderful care she has given to Joey in his final months of life.
