JOSEPH S. KNUEPPELJoseph S. Knueppel, age 53, of 86 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 30, 2004 at his residence. He was born on March 28, 1951 in Fond du Lac the son of Charles W. "Chuck" and Kathleen Peebles Knueppel. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the United States Air Force for 13 years. He was a cement finisher. He belonged to the Bricklayers Allied Craftworkers Union. He was a friend of Bill W. He enjoyed music, loved children, enjoyed camping in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. SURVIVORS: one son, Ryan (Katey) Knueppel of Eau Claire, one daughter, Laine Rogers of Marquette, MI, his mother Kathleen of Fond du Lac, five brothers, Dave (Betty) Knueppel of Fond du Lac, Dick Knueppel of Oshkosh, Chuck (Sharon) Knueppel of Fond du Lac, Bill (Linda) Knueppel of Fox Lake, Kevin (special friend Carolyn) Knueppel of Fond du Lac, five sisters, Ann (Mark) Miller of Kimberly, Beth (Joe) Peters of Fond du Lac, Sue (Ken) Narlock of Milwaukee, Jane (Dean) Wendt of Fond du Lac, Karen (Don) Bowen of Fond du Lac, thirty two nieces and nephews, thirty five great-nieces and nephews, friends, Barb Schmitz of Fond du Lac, Greg (fiancé Peggy) Vande Slunt of Fond du Lac. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother Tom, one niece, Linda Knueppel.



VISITATION: Tuesday, November 2, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Wednesay, November 3, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home officiating with the Reverend Ken Nabi officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 will conduct military honors at the funeral home. Memorials are appreciated to the family. His was a tortured soul,A wounded spirit.A man of sorrows, Acquainted with grief.His pain-Who of us could know?He is now freeOf suffering In this earthly life.This life-which produced his only joy-Ryan and Laine-His children.As we weep and mourn, We remember.The good times, the hard times.Always, always-we love.Jane Wendt10/31/04Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
