Joshua M. Demeuse

With heavily burdened hearts, we announce that our 35-year-old son, Joshua, passed away suddenly at his home in Beaver Dam, WI, on Monday, August 24th, 2020. He was born December 4, 1984 in Hoffman Estates, IL. He graduated from Waunakee High School in 2003.



He is survived by his parents, Matt and Chris DeMeuse of Westfield, IN; his brother, Tyler DeMeuse of Rockville, MD; his maternal grandmother, Geraldine Bennett of Westfield, IN; his soulmate Kristina Giese of Beaver Dam; three mini Dachshunds: Bella, Winston, and Mila; aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.



Those who knew Josh, even a little, have lost a shining light and free spirit in their lives. Josh learned and shared the love and amazing skill of golf from his dad and that of cooking from his mom. Skateboards, snowboards, gaming, McGyver, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, rollercoasters, scary movies and Inspector Gadget are among the many things Josh loved! He will be remembered for his white-blonde hair and bright blue eyes, his belly laugh, his bear hugs, his sense of humor, and his very tender heart. Josh loved hard, and he trusted deeply, sometimes to a fault. The tenderness and devotion he had to animals was ever present. He was especially proud of his and Kristina’s rescue of Mila, one of their beloved Dachshunds.



Josh, we know you are now reunited with Bumpie and Uncle Tony, now ‘3 peas in a pod’. You will be forever loved here on earth as you are in heaven. Although our hearts are profoundly broken, we have comfort knowing you are at peace. We’re sure the “greens” in heaven are beyond beautiful – here’s hoping you get a Hole-In-1 every round!



There will be no public visitation or services at this time. Cremation has taken place.
