Joshua Matthew Zielicke, 18, of N6971 Lap Road, Town of Taycheedah, Mt. Calvary, died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, as the result of a traffic accident. He was born November 8, 1990, in Fond du Lac, the son of Theodore and Wanda Jagow Zielicke. Joshua graduated from Fond du Lac High School in June of this year. He was currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Fond du Lac, and was employed by Dinner Bell Farms. Joshua was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Church and its youth group. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowboarding, water skiing, spending time with his family, traveling, customizing his 87 Ranger truck, and riding his motorcycle. Surviving are his parents, Ted and Wanda, two brothers, Jeremiah and Jacob, both at home, his paternal grandparents, Dan and Melody Zielicke of Lomira, aunts, uncles, cousins, a great aunt, and other relatives and friends. His maternal grandparents and three infant siblings preceded him in death.
Visitation for Joshua Zielicke will be on Sunday, October 11, 2009, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Monday, October 12th from 9 to 11 am at Lighthouse Christian Church, 401 S. National Avenue, Fond du Lac. Funeral services will be at 11 am at the church. Pastor Brent Balken will officiate and burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery, Town of Taycheedah.
