Joyce E. Meyer

Joyce Elizabeth Meyer, age 91, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, April 23, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on June 15, 1923 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Henry J. and Lucile (Althaus) Warnke. On December 27, 1945 she married James A. Meyer at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on February 15, 1994. Joyce was a member of Church of Peace. Joyce loved spending time talking and visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed knitting, reading, and doing word search puzzles.



SURVIVORS: one daughter, Janet (Joseph) Liegl of Chapel Hill, NC; two grandsons, Matthew (Kim) Liegl of Hudson, OH, and Jeremy (Julie) Liegl of San Francisco, CA; three great-grandchildren, Gavin, Jane, and Emma; one sister, Barbara Brummond of Oakfield. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband James; and five siblings, Wes, Bud, Dipna, Shirley, and Adeline.



Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield.
