Joyce J. Wuest

Joyce J. Wuest, 88, formerly of 164 East Scott Street, Fond du Lac, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010 at Grancare Nursing Home. She was born the daughter of Walter and Martha Reschke Gransee on June 16, 1921 in Rosendale, WI. On August 24, 1940 she married her sweetheart, Edward "Bob" L. Wuest, Jr. at Church of Peace, and he preceded her in death on February 18, 2010. Joyce enjoyed gardening, making wine, making soups, golfing, weekend boating, summer Mississippi River trips, canning, the Green Bay Packers, Brett Favre, Milwaukee Brewers, and backyard cookouts. She also loved perch fishing and sturgeon spearing. You could always find her swinging in her backyard patio swing. She was a member of the Yacht Club, Fond du Lac Boat Club, Sturgeon for Tomorrow, and the Lost Arrow Archery Club. Joyce and her husband, Edward were hand in hand for 69 years, enjoying everything they did together. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend, who always put her family first.SURVIVORS: three children, Linda (Michael) Milinski of Fond du Lac, James (Nancy) Wuest of Fond du Lac, Robert (Sandy) Wuest of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Mark (Tammie) Milinski of Missouri, Lori (Andy) Jurgensmier of Fond du Lac, Jesse (Sarah) Wuest of Fond du Lac, Casey, Chad, and Gavin Wuest all of Fond du Lac; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward; one daughter, Sandra Lee; one brother, Jordan Gransee



VISITATION: will be from 1:00 PM "“ 3:30 PM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Estabrooks Cemetery.
