Julie A. Basler

Julie A. Basler, age 57, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 23, 2015. She was born on May 9, 1958 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Ernest and Irene Oelke. She graduated from Goodrich High School in 1976. On September 30, 1978 she married Edward Basler in Woodhull. Julie loved animals especially her cats Remington and Colt. She enjoyed cooking, taking care of flowers in the yard, and spending time with her family



SURVIVORS: her husband, Edward of Fond du Lac; two children, Brooke (Justin) Lewis of Pewaukee, Brett Basler of Mt. Dora, FL; one grandson, Mason; her siblings, Ernie (Rose) Oelke of Miami, OK, Sharon Solamita of Fond du Lac, Marv (Marie) Oelke of Fond du Lac, Helen Oelke of The Villages, FL, Sue Snider of Fond du Lac, Irene (John) Ziegler of Fond du Lac; mother in law, Natalie Basler of Rosendale; two sisters in law, Sharon Oelke of Fond du Lac, and Linda Oelke of Fond du Lac; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lee and Steve; father in law, Ralph Basler; brother in law, John Snider.



VISITATION: Sunday, September 27, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
