June Heisler

June Heisler passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on May 14, 1923, to Louis and Florence (Sneesby) Kraft. On August 13, 1949, she married Franklin F. Heisler. He preceded her in death on October 18, 1988 after thirty-nine wonderful years together.



June worked at Infant Socks and LaResista Corset factory until her first child was born. She later returned to work at Infant Socks until it closed after her youngest child started school. June then went to work for the Fond du Lac school system in food service where she enjoyed cooking and working with the students who also enjoyed her and her humor.



Those left behind to cherish her memory are a son, Gerald (Deb) Heisler of Oshkosh; a twin daughter, Debra Bruflat; and son, Wayne (Lori) Heisler of Fond du Lac; son-in-law, Dan Schultz of Fond du Lac; eleven grandchildren, Staci (Dave) Polishinski, Kevin (Carrie) Heisler, Oshkosh, Brandon Fields of Las Vegas, NV, Amber Travis of Oshkosh, Jason (Beth) Schultz, Julie (Matt) Schwartz both of Fond du Lac, Mike (Jody) Bruflat of Sheboygan Falls, Jenny (Mike) Hoffman of Fond du Lac, Tom (Ali) Bruflat of River Falls, Keith “Wheels” Heisler of Fond du Lac, Katie (Kris) Sutter of Sun Prairie; she is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren. June is survived by two sisters, Carol Westphal of Fond du Lac, and Hope Goessling of Eau Claire; and many nieces and nephews and her lifelong best friend, Betty Kuen. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her twin daughter, Donna; a son, Franklin Jr; and twelve siblings.



Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 4-8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church-Holy Family, 232 Peters Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Visitation will take place at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.



June’s family wishes to thank Dr. Sergi and his staff for all the years of wonderful care he provided. We would also like to thank the nursing staff at St. Francis Terrace.
