June Rose Ziegler passed away on September 14, 2017, at the age of 75, at Rush University Hospital in Chicago, surrounded by family and loved ones. June was born November 24, 1941, in North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. June was the youngest daughter of
Mayta and Olaf Anderson. She grew up with a sister, Laraine, and three brothers, Harold, Robert, and George. She spent her youth in North Fond du Lac, where she met and married the love of her life, Fred Ziegler. Together they had two sons and a daughter.
In addition to raising three children, June assisted her husband in founding and running F. Ziegler Enterprises, a machine shop located in Fond du Lac. In her free time, she loved to be with her friends and family and to participate in worship and church activities at the Apostolic Christian Church. June was also an avid crafter and enjoyed cross stitch, crochet, and quilting.
June is survived by three children, Julie, Fred, and Dan; two grandchildren, Kira and Kyle; a sister, Laraine; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the funeral service will be on Friday, September 22, at 11:00 a.m., both at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave. in Fond du Lac.
