Karilyn J. Wallender

Karilyn J. Wallender, 65, of 435 E. Johnson Street, died Monday, May 02, 2005, surrounded by her family. She was born August 17, 1939, in Fond du Lac, a daughter of Joseph L. and Louise "Cleone" Jarvis Hannes. On August 24, 1957, she married Norbert H. Wallender in North Fond du Lac. Mrs. Wallender was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church, and the St. Anne Society. She enjoyed baking, trips up north to her cabin, shopping for shoes, watching the Green Bay Packers. Her dearest love was her family and watching them grow.Surviving is her husband, Norbert, two daughters, Cynthia (Antonio) Rodriquez and Ellen (Dale) Kohls, all of Fond du Lac, two sons, James (Anne) Wallender of FL, and Joseph (Sandra) Wallender of Fond du Lac, ten grandchildren, Antonio J. and Rebeca Rodriquez, Adam and Heather Kohls, Courtney, Lauren, Alex, Tad, and Whitney Wallender, and Jeff Martin, and three and a half great-grandchildren. Further surviving are two brothers, Thomas (Marion) Hannes of Fond du Lac, and Rodney (Jean) Hannes of Fairview Heights, IL, and two sisters, Suzanne Higgins and Claudia (James) Kitts, all of Fond du Lac. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, William (Judy) Wallender of Hazelhurst, WI, three sisters-in-law, Patsy Wallender and Ann Meyer, both of Fond du Lac, and June (Morris) Erickson of Brownsville, WI, and other relatives and friends. Her parents and a brother, James, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Karilyn J. Wallender will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Thursday, May 5, 2005, from 12 noon to 2 pm at Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 pm on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Patrick Heppe of Holy Family Parish will officiate. Burial will be in Estabrooks Cemetery.
