Katherine A. Lueck, 69, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born October 8, 1944, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Thomas and Edna Brockway Vossekuil. Katherine was a 1963 graduate of Waupun High School. On October 28, 1967, she married Ronald L. Lueck in Fond du Lac. Kathy loved camping, scrap booking, reading, watching the Packers, Brewers, and NASCAR. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and her Pekinese dog, “Kernel.”
She is survived by her husband, Ron, three daughters, Vickie (Randy) Lackey of Waupun, Shella (Mike) Baguio of Kenosha, and Tanya (Eric) Hinojosa of Fond du Lac, three sons, Trent Lueck of Waupun, Kevin (Barbara) Lueck of Fond du Lac, and Ronald Lueck II, also of Fond du Lac, 11 grandchildren, Bradley Lueck and Sherman (Amber) Lackey, Kealoha, Kalani, and Kahala Baguio, Jacob Lueck, Malachi, Nevaeh, and Zion Lueck, Kaylee and Kaleb Hinojosa, and one great-grandson, Creed Lueck. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas (Cheryl) Vossekuil of Juneau, and William (Louise) Vossekuil of Beaver Dam, and a sister, Betty (Robert) Capen of Markesan. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, Norman (Doris) Lueck of South Easton, MA, Robert (Elizabeth) Lueck of Westfield, six sisters-in-law, Audrey (John) Borzick of North Fond du Lac, Joan (Jerry) Kamphuis of Appleton, Lois Peters of Fond du Lac, Kathleen (Peter) Ochs of Eldorado, Doris (Harry) Brotherton of Oakfield, and Mary Lueck of Fond du Lac, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Edward, Norman, and Charles Vossekuil, two sisters-in-law, Barbara Kessler and Barbara Vossekuil, three brothers-in-law, Norbert Lueck, Edward Kessler, and David Peters, two nephews, Russell Vossekuil and Craig Lueck, and a niece, Carol Kessler-Horton.
Visitation for Katherine A. Lueck will be on Friday, August 8, 2014, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 PM on Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Rosenberg will officiate and entombment will follow in the Garden of Honor in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the family.
