Katherine Martin

Katherine Martin, age 80 of 848 Security Drive, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Fond du Lac on March 7, 1928 the daughter of George and Zerfero Eleftheriou Kappos. On June 23, 1951 she married Paul W. Martin at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. Paul preceded her in death on November 21, 1999. Early in her adult life Katherine had worked at Model Laundry. She was a member of Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed country music, crocheting, gardening and spending time with friends and family.Survivors include her daughter, Karen (John) Kremer, Fond du Lac, four grandchildren, Stephany, Ryan, Nick Kremer and Jeff Martin, three great-grandchildren, Lily, Leila, and Jayden. Katherine is further survived by a sister Alice Russart, Fond du Lac, a brother-in-law, Arnie (Edith) Martin, Fond du Lac, and nieces and nephews. Her parents,her husband,grandson Jason Kremer, and a brother-in-law, Leonard Russart, preceded Katherine in death.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M.at Immanuel-Trinity Lutheran Church, 40 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Immanuel-Trinty Lutheran Church with Reverend Shari Routh officiating.
