Kathryn M. Schwartz

Kathryn M. Schwartz, age 94 of 219 Weis Avenue, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 at ManorCare Health Services. She was born in Fond du Lac on January 27, 1914 the daughter of Alfred and Katherine Koch Purrier. On August 24, 1940 she married Charles D. Schwartz at St. Patrick's Church, Fond du Lac. Charles preceded her in death on December 26, 2004. Kathryn worked for the Fond du Lac School District at Rosenow School as a cook for 12 years retiring in 1977. Kathyrn was a member of Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed knitting and fishing.SURVIVORS: She is survived by two children, Tom (Bev) Gaffney, Fond du Lac and Carol Schwartz, Fond du Lac, six grandchildren; Chris Berres, Campbellsport, Bonnie (Greg) Braun, Taycheedah, Rick (Lonnie) Gaffney, Oakfield, Sandy Gaffney, Fond du Lac, Debbie Gaffney, Fond du Lac, Cheri (Tom) Guy, Plymouth, grand daughter-in-law; Judy Gaffney, North Fond du Lac, ten great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and three grandchildren, Tommy Lee Gaffney, Michael Alan Gaffney, and Randy Gaffney preceded her in death.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Thursday, December 18, 2008 from 2 to 4 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: A Liturgy of The Word Service will be held Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Reverend Patrick Heppe officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park."
