Kathy S. Rose

Kathy S. Rose, 58, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Milwaukee. She was born January 22, 1958 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of William and Mary Powers Sturtz. On July 8, 1978 she married Wayne L. Rose in Markesan. Kathy worked in housekeeping at St. Agnes Hospital for several years. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Kathy enjoyed collecting owls, reading, going to the movies, eating out and traveling.



She is survived by her husband, Wayne; eight siblings, Joe (Ginger) Sturtz of Oshkosh, Nyla (John) LaShay of Fond du Lac, Virginia (Steve) Miller of North Fond du Lac, Steve (Patty) Sturtz of Manitowoc, Tom Sturtz of Fond du Lac, Ron (Jean) Sturtz of West Bend, Charlotte Mueller of Texas, and David (Joyce) Sturtz of Waupun; her father-in-law, Willard Rose of Markesan; two brothers-in-law, Roy Seeger of Los Angeles, CA and Dennis Rose of Markesan; one sister-in-law, Sheryl (Mick) Burmeister of Markesan; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Nita Seeger and Janet Sturtz; one brother, Robert Sturtz; her mother-in-law, Esther Rose; and brother-in-law, David Rose.



The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church, 400 East Johnson Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Trinity Baptist Church. Cremation will follow the traditional services.
