Keith H. “Indian” Prickett, 82, of North Fond du Lac, died Sunday, January 31, 2016 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born August 7, 1933 in Elcho, WI, the son of Edward and Veronica Thurber Prickett. Keith was raised in Antigo, WI and on October 22, 1955 married Janel A. Thompson in Winona, MN. Together they moved to Fond du Lac in 1962. Keith worked for Mercury Marine for many years retiring in 1999. He was an avid Packer and Cubs fan. Keith’s family and his dog, Duke were the most important part of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Janel; four children, Guy (Cecilia) Prickett, Beth (Jerome) Steffes, Kathy (Dennis) Schuppe, and Craig (Kim) Prickett; 12 grandchildren; one special granddaughter, Lee (Andee) Van Derel; 21 great grandchildren and one expected in July; one sister, Carol Schlieter; one brother, Bill (Sharon) Prickett; sister-in-law, Bonnie Prickett; brother-in-law, Joel (Marilyn) Thompson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his in laws, Edward and Ruth Thompson; one son-in-law, Howard Carlson; one brother, Don; three sisters; and one nephew, Kenneth Remington.
At Keith’s request private services will be held. Cremation has taken place.
