Kenneth C. Grainger

Kenneth C. Grainger, 79, of Stillwater, OK, died Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Stillwater Medical Center. He was born on February 5, 1943, in Fond du Lac, the son of William and Alice (Ayer) Grainger. On October 20, 1962, he married Peggy Schwartz in Fond du Lac. Kenneth was a former member of Immanuel Trinity Church and IAMAW Local 1947. He worked for Mercury Marine for 45 years until his retirement. In his spare time, Kenneth liked to work on peoples’ boats, deer hunt, working on crafts, and feeding his birds.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; son, Donald (Amy) Grainger; four granddaughters, Kimberly Grainger, Kayla (Clayton) Zielieke, Brianna (fiancé, Richard Jorgensen) Germait, and Taylor Germait; two sisters, Sharon Grainger and Geraldine Hass; son-in-law, Gerald Germait; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sheila Germait; nine siblings; and nine siblings-in-law.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow the service at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Cemetery.
