KENNETH C. SCHMITZKenneth C. Schmitz, age 60, of W4807 Golf Course Dr, Taycheedah, died Thursday, November 10, 2005 peacefully in the woods while hunting near his cabin in Adams County. He was born on January 13, 1945 the son of Ralph and Elsie Fiebig Schmitz. On September 4, 1965 he married Jill Diedrich. Ken was the proprietor of Ken's Retreat in Taycheedah. He enjoyed spending time hunting and being with his friends.SURVIVORS: his fiancé Donna Tadych of Taycheedah and her children, Michael Tadych, Suzanne Immel, Debbie Van Gorder, and John Tadych, three sisters, Karen (Dave) Kwakkel of Brandon, Mary (Bill) Schneider of Fond du Lac, Kathy (Jim) Stubbe of Eldorado, one brother, Richard (Florence) Schmitz of Fond du Lac, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James Ralph Schmitz, an infant brother, and twin sisters.



VISITATION: Monday, November 14, 2005 from 2-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Monday, November 14, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Cremation will follow the traditional services. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
