Kenneth G. Miller, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Lakeview Place. He was born September 12, 1926 in North Fond du Lac, the son of Jeffrey and Isla Warner Miller. Kenneth was a WWII veteran serving in the US Navy from 1944 – 1946. On April 23, 1949 Kenneth married Jean Putz in Fond du Lac and she preceded him in death on May 17, 2013. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Fraternal Order of Eagles #270, and the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America. Kenneth enjoyed singing, gardening, being a jokester, deer hunting, being with his friends at the Eagles Club, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by five children, Steven (Desmond Lim) Miller, Deborah (Peter) Doll, Julie (Gregory) Hansen, Todd (Mary) Miller, and James (Jennifer) Miller; eight grandchildren, Jen Memmel, Amy Loy, Michael Doll, Stacy Leitheiser, Michael Miller, Stacia Miller, Peyton Miller, and Reid Miller; two sisters-in-law, Edith Miller and Valerie Fitzgerald; special nephews, Rick Miller and John Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean; three brothers, Ray, Gerald, and Carl; brothers-in-law, Al Bauer, John “Jack” Fitzgerald, and Lou Higgenbotham; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Bauer, Florence Miller, and Sue Higginbotham.
The visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope in Kenneth’s name.
