Kenneth J. Topp, 67, of 567 E. 10th Street, died Monday, November 19, 2007, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born May 17, 1940, in the Town of Osceola, the son of Herbert and Sarah Fritz Topp. On September 7, 1963, he married Sandra "Sue" Symons at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church where he was currently a member. Mr. Topp was formerly employed as a cheese maker by Galloway West/Saputo Cheese for 40 years, retiring in 2002. Ken was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy. He was a volunteer at Free Spirit Riders, Habitat For Humanity, and Winnebago Lutheran Academy. He loved going to watch his grandchildren's sports activities, hunting, fishing, the Packers, and the Brewers. Surviving is his wife, Sandra, two daughters, Dawn (Robert) Freund of Dotyville, and Cindy (Ray) Brzycki of Rhinelander, and a son, Brian Topp, also of Rhinelander, and six grandchildren, Eddie and Andy Wagner, Louis and Samantha Freund, and Brynn and Trayton Brzycki. A sister, Elaine Hills of Wausau, further survives him. His parents preceded him in death.
Visitation for Mr. Kenneth J. Topp will be on Saturday, November 24th, from 10 am to 12 noon at St. Peters Evangelical Lutheran Church, Corner of First and Marr Streets. Funeral services will be at 12 noon at the church on Saturday. The Rev. Jon Cox will officiate and burial will be in Rienzi Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church Building Fund, Winnebago Lutheran Academy, or Free Spirit Riders.
