Kenneth L. Hodgden

Kenneth L. Hodgden, age 88, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1927 in Fond du Lac, the son of Herbert and Charlotte (O’Malley) Hodgden. Ken served in the United States Army. On May 26, 1950 he married Mary J. Anders at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2008. Ken worked at the railroad then worked at G & L. He is a member of Holy Family Parish and he enjoyed gambling and going out to breakfast with friends.



SURVIVORS: two children, Donald (Chris) Hodgden of Fond du Lac, Wendy (Steve) Rhode of North Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Jason (special friend Heidi) Hodgden of Lamartine, Scott (Kelly) Hodgden of Fond du Lac, Nick (Andrea) Hodgden of Fond du Lac, Jarred (Maureen “Moe”) Hodgden of Waukesha, Eric Rhode of Fond du Lac, and Michael (fiancé Rosalinda) Rhode of Fond du Lac; four great-grandchildren, Lexi, Tyler, Aidan, and Ethan Hodgden; one sister, Evie (Jim) Mullen of Mt. Calvary; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary; two brothers, LeRoy and Ralph Hodgden; one sister, June Bond.



At Kenneth’s request, private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
