Kenneth R. Treptow

Kenneth R. Treptow, 76, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at his residence. He was born June 22, 1939 in Fond du Lac, the son of Raymond and Lorraine Munnagle Treptow. On January 3, 1970 he married Sharon R. Gilbo at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. Kenneth served in the Army National Guard. He worked for Mercury Marine in the Exhibits Department, retiring in 2001. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, building bird houses, and morning coffee with friends.



He is survived by his wife, Sharon Treptow; two step daughters, Michele Reinhold of Fond du Lac and Jill (Alan) Loomans of Topeka, KS; one step son, Scott (Marianne) Trott of Waterford, WI; one special grandson, Harry J. (Alissa) Reinhold. He is further survived by his siblings, Gerald Treptow of Racine, Richard (June) Treptow of Fond du Lac, Wanda Ebert of Virginia, Joleen (John) Murphy of Ripon, and Linda Schears of Beaver Dam; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.



The visitation will be held from 9:00 – 11:00 am on Monday, March 14, 2016 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, March 14, 2016 at St. Peter’s Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Zuberbier officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.



In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kenneth’s name are appreciated to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
