Kenneth T. Christie, age 52, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully with family and friends at his side on Sunday February 19, 2006 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born May 1, 1953 in Fond du Lac, the son of Gorden and Rosemary Christie. He married Mary (Flasch) Christie on June 16th 1972 at Sacred Heart Church in Fond du Lac, WI. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School and Moraine Park for HVAC. He was a former employee of Mercury Marine for 19 years, and worked as a staff member at Taylor Park Pool for 3 yrs. He was involved in the community in many ways by being a crossing guard, coaching softball, girls basketball, and a former member of Lakeshore Bowhunters. Survivors, include his wife Mary, one son Timothy (Heidi) Christie. One daughter, Jodi (Brad) Christie. His mother Rosemary Christie, two brothers, David (Claudia) Christie, Thomas (Kathy) Christie, two sisters, Jackie (Bill) Lemke, Kay (Fran) Buechel. In-laws include, Regina Christie, Cathy Borth, Richard (Patricia) Flasch, Patricia (David) Pease. Five grandchildren, Natasha, Destiny, Alasha, Hanna Christie and Brennan Bryan, two step-grandchildren, Jordan and Cheyanne Abitz. He was a godfather to William and Natasha Christie and Matthew Buechel. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Mary Hanke, Dave and Ida Christie his father Gorden Christie, two brothers Richard and William Christie, one sister in- law Janice Schnell.



Visitation will be on Wednesday February 22, 2006 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home.Funeral Services will be held on Thursday February 23, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Deacon Ricardo Munoz officiating. Burial will follow at Estabrooks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the family. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
