L. Charlotte Braatz

L. Charlotte Braatz, age 85, died Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Harbor Haven Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on November 5, 1930 in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Christopher and Louise (Korth) Salzman. On August 27, 1949 she married Robert Braatz at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran in North Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1987. She was a seamstress at Canvas Products and prior to that worked in the nursery at St. Agnes. She enjoyed gardening, traveling when she could, camping, the outdoors, the Green Bay Packers, and all animals especially her kitty Minnie.



SURVIVORS: five children, Dale (Cheryl) Braatz, Sharene (Robert) Kind, Rodney Braatz, Georgene (Mike) Sperbeck, Bill Braatz; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Braatz; three sisters and their husbands, Marge (Bob) Schingen, Ruth (Bill) Sabel, Dorothy (Elmer) Thielitz; two sisters in law, Geraldine Braatz, and Lorraine (Merwin) Vaughn.



VISITATION: Wednesday, December 9, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. FUNERAL: Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Rienzi Cemetery.
