La Verne J. "Boots" Wolf

La Verne "Boots" J. Wolf, 86, a resident of the St. Francis Home, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at the home. She was born on June 20, 1927 in the Town of Black Wolf the daughter of Alfred and Esther Madous Abraham. On May 6, 1950 she married Forrest E. Wolf at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Fond du Lac. She worked at Wells Manufacturing for 23years retiring in 1965. La Verne resided with her husband Forrest in the Town of Black Wolf, Fond du Lac, Cincinnati, Ohio, Kansas City, Missouri, St. Louis, Missouri, Dallas, Texas and from 1974 to 2004 they resided in Atlanta, Georgia returning to Fond du Lac in that year.. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of the River Shore Estates and Garden Club for 30 years in Atlanta, Georgia.SURVIVORS: La Verne is survived by her husband Forrest E. Wolf, Lamartine, one brother Orville (Nancy) Abraham, Fond du Lac, and one sister Irma Draves, Fond du Lac. She is further survived by nieces, Bonnie Alsup, Fond du Lac, Janice (Jim) Quade, Waupun, Shirley (Joe) Roberts, Fond du Lac, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Chaplain Pamela Werth will officiate.
