Laura Ann White

Laura Ann WhiteLaura Ann White, 45, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, January 7, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. She was born May 1, 1961, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Robert and Mary Ann Schmitz Goldberg. Laura was currently employed at Cavett, Turner, & Wyble LLP of Beaumont, TX as a benefit specialist. She also resided in Irving, TX, where her two daughters were born. Later, she resided in Burke, VA, and then moved back to her hometown of Fond du Lac where she married Michael White in Fond du Lac at St. Mary's Church. Mrs. White was a graduate of St. Mary's Springs High School and graduated from Terrant County Junior College in Virginia and later attended George Mason University, also in Virginia. Laura enjoyed watching and coaching her daughters in their soccer games, going camping, taking trips, and going to different beaches. Surviving is her husband, Michael, of Fond du Lac, two daughters, Jacquelyn Shunkey of Tulsa, OK, and Kristin (Special Friend, Jason Wendels) Shunkey of Fond du Lac, her mother, Mary Ann (Dave) Steinke of Fond du Lac, her father, Robert (Arlene) Goldberg of St. Augustine, FL, a sister, Debra (Tim) O'Connor of Fond du Lac, , two brothers, Robert L. Goldberg of Japan, and David M. Goldberg of Fond du Lac, her maternal grand-mother, Evelyn Schmitz of Fond du Lac, and her father and mother in law, Raymond (Mary) White of Fond du Lac. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, a great niece, a Godchild, and other relatives and friends further survive her. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.



Visitation for Mrs. Laura Ann White will be on Monday, January 15, 2007, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Liturgy of The Word for Christian Burial services will be at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Deacon Larry Hughes will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
