Laura E. Knack

Laura E. Knack, 86, of 1596 E. County Road Z, Town of Blackwolf, Winnebago County, died Saturday, September 12, 2009, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born September 22, 1922, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Ervin and Regina Abraham Bloedow. On June 14, 1941, she married Raymond R. Knack in Oshkosh. He preceded her in death on November 14, 2003. Laura was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Oshkosh. She was formerly employed by Paine Lumber of Oshkosh, and was a former member of the Van Dyne Lioness' Club. Surviving are two daughters, Jean (Carl) Bilitz of Fond du Lac, and Joan (Harold) Koeck of Oshkosh, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two sisters, Irene Will of North Fond du Lac, and Ruby (Art) Crook of Oshkosh, three brothers, Clarence Bloedow of Oshkosh, Robert (Barbara) Bloedow of Pickett, and Don (Ida) Bloedow of Madison. A sister-in-law, Lillian Bloedow of Oshkosh, further survives her. Her parents, husband, and a brother, Melvin, preceded her in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Laura E. Knack will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, from 1 to 2 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm at the funeral home on the 16th. The Rev. Chadwick Graham will officiate and burial will be in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
