Laura M. Lemke

Laura M. Lemke, 82 of 27 North Military Road, died December 21,2005 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born in Fond du Lac on April 20,1923 the daughter of William and Josephine A. Gratton Ritchie. On July 18, 1938, she married Stanley P. Lemke in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on June 7,1957. On July 12,1962 she married Robert E. Lemke in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on December 20,1974. Laura was a life-long resident of Fond du Lac and a member of the Church of Peace-United Church of Christ for over 40 years. She enjoyed the Green Bay Packers, soap operas, and loved animals. She was previously employed at the ARC.Surviving are nine children; Gloria (Herbert) Marschall, Duane (Diane) Lemke, Sharon (Dennis) Hodorff, Sandra (Gary) Meisenburg, Darrell (Connie) Lemke, Linda Kutchek, Timothy (Mona) Lemke, Stephen (Cathy) Lemke, and Roberta "Bobbie" Lemke, all of Fond du Lac, 22 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Lorraine (Tom) Perkovich of New Berlin, WI. Laura was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and one great-granddaughter, McKala Kutchek.



Visitation for Mrs. Laura M. Lemke will be on Monday, December 26, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, from 10 to 11 am at the Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2005, at 11 am at the church. The Rev. Sharon Stier and the Rev.
